Curtain Calls Escape LLC Waiver and Release of Liability

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN ANY ESCAPE ROOM AT CURTAIN CALLS ESCAPE LLC.

1. Assumption of Risk: Participating in an escape room involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, physical exertion, mental stress, and the possibility of property damage or personal injury. You acknowledge and assume these risks by participating in any escape room at Curtain Calls Escape LLC.

2. Release of Liability: In consideration for being allowed to participate in an escape room at Curtain Calls Escape LLC, you hereby release and forever discharge Curtain Calls Escape LLC, its owners, managers, employees, agents, affiliates, and successors in interest (collectively, "Curtain Calls"), from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or in connection with your participation in any escape room at Curtain Calls, including, but not limited to, claims for:

• Personal injury or death.

• Loss or damage to personal property.

• Emotional distress or mental anguish.

• Any other physical or emotional harm or injury.

3. Medical Conditions: You represent and warrant that you are in good physical and mental health and are capable of participating in an escape room without risk to yourself or others. You further represent that you have no medical conditions or limitations that could be exacerbated by physical exertion or mental stress. If you have any doubts about your fitness to participate, please consult with a physician before signing this waiver.

4. Rules and Conduct: You agree to comply with all rules and instructions provided by Curtain Calls staff. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• No running, shoving, or other reckless behavior.

• No climbing on furniture or props.

• No tampering with locks, doors, or other equipment.

• No bringing food or drinks into the escape room.

• No consuming alcohol or drugs before or during your escape room experience.

• No behavior that is disrespectful or threatening to Curtain Calls staff or other participants.

Curtain Calls reserves the right to remove you from the escape room at any time, without refund, for violating any of these rules or engaging in any other unsafe or inappropriate behavior.

5. Photography and Videography: You acknowledge and agree that Curtain Calls may capture photographs and videos of you during your escape room experience. You grant Curtain Calls the unrestricted right to use and publish these photographs and videos for any lawful purpose, including marketing and promotional materials.

6. Insurance: You are responsible for obtaining your own insurance coverage for any personal injury or property damage that may occur during your participation in an escape room at Curtain Calls.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this waiver shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia located in the City of Norfolk.

8. Severability: If any provision of this waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. Entire Agreement: This waiver constitutes the entire agreement between you and Curtain Calls with respect to your participation in any escape room at Curtain Calls.

By signing the condensed form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this waiver and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
